HIL Framework Developer

You will be a member of a truly international team designing HIL

test-environments for production software testing. Meaning the HIL framework

you will create is crucial for testing electrical propulsion ECUs used in the

Traction Battery, Charging and Electric Drive Systems.

What you’ll do

In this role you will be able to extend and

deepen your knowledge in the areas of modelling and automation framework,

dSPACE HILs and Continuous Integration. As a HIL framework team member, you

will develop tools, methods and environment to enable highly automated Simulink

modelling and ECU software testing, shaping tomorrow’s software development in

powertrain electrification.

The integration of HIL testing into the CI chain

demands higher development speed and faster deployment than any time before.

Therefore, we are looking to grow our team that is responsible for the HIL

framework and realization of future strategies for dynamic modelling and

automatic test environments.

Do you fit the profile?

We see that you have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in SW

Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent with emphasis on SW

development. You have extensive experience in either dynamic modelling using

Matlab/Simulink or test automation. Experience from an Agile working

environment and from Continuous Integration is beneficial.

You are fluent in English.

Experience from some of below would also be

considered meritorious:

• Software/Model development (python,

Matlab/Simulink)

• Experience with HIL systems and real-time

simulation

• Experience in Continuous Integration

• dSPACE toolchain (ConfigurationDesk,

AutomationDesk, ControlDesk,...)

• Knowledge about Electric Motors, Power

Electronics and Traction Battery technology

• Software testing

• CAN and Automotive Ethernet communications
