At Platform 24 our aim is to make every day better for both patients and people working within healthcare, like doctors and nurses. Together we impact lives globally by building healthcare 2.0.

Now we are looking for a UX/UI Designer who wants to be part of our Remote Patient Monitoring team (RPM). The typical use case for RPM is patients living with a chronic condition, i.e. diabetes, hypertension, or asthma. Clinicians work on the other end to help these patients manage their health from their home, using digital services and devices. As a UX/UI Designer in this team, you will cater to the needs of both patients and clinicians.

As a part of the RPM team, you will be responsible for the overall design work - from user research to prototyping and evaluating to detailed design.
RPM is a medical device and the features you work on require continuous usability testing and validation to be able to ensure a safe and accessible product.

You will work closely together with the Product Manager and developers in order to deliver a great product for the users.

You will also be a part of our fantastic UX team with fellow designers and researchers. In the team we share our work, give feedback, collaborate on projects across our different products, and are always happy to support each other.

We are a diverse and inclusive team, so we like to spend time together both during work and after. We have weekly meetups, various collaboration projects, and do fun activities together.

Responsibilities:

-
Ownership for the overall design work for RPM, from wireframes to detailed user interface design

- Identify needs through user research and share insights with stakeholders and customers

- Iteratively validating ideas and designs with end users to ensure designs are engaging and accessible

- Design flows and interactions that solve the users’ problems and cater to their needs.

- Refine solutions together with the developer team and specify your designs

- Plan, conduct, and document usability testing on a regular basis

- Presenting your design and findings to stakeholders and customers

- Take lead on the accessibility work to make sure our products can be used by everyone regardless of their abilities or situations

We believe you:

- Have worked as a UX designer for at least 3 years, and have been involved in the work of taking in user needs and producing designs for several different companies.

- Have the ability to identify needs through user research and convert these into design concepts.

- Enjoy presenting solutions and concepts to different types of stakeholders and customers

- Are curious and happy to share your knowledge. You take responsibility for the creative and conceptual work of your team.

- Are a structured person who is not afraid of making decisions

- Enjoy interacting with users and empathy is one of your most important tools. To take lead in planning, conducting, and analyzing usability tests is something you do naturally.

- Have great interaction & visual design skills and are interested in the latest UI trends. Also, Figma is your go-to visual design tool.

- Have experience/knowledge about inclusive design and accessibility

- Speak and write fluent Swedish and English
