As a Software Architect– Web Applications, you will provide technical leadership for a team of software, test automation and quality assurance engineers. You will routinely collaborate with your peers who are leading other software teams in order to ensure first class architectural and strategic planning across our portfolio.

Your days will be filled with:

• Determine the appropriate architecture for our evolving web infrastructure, in close collaboration with peers and team members
• Take the lead in defining technical execution of the team’s work, most notably for any change to design patterns
• Take the lead in determining functional and non-functional requirements for new and existing software services and applications
• Develop system and product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
• In cooperation with engineering manager, define all aspects of software development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
• Successfully communicate all concepts and guidelines to development team
• Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
• Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility.

We are looking for someone with:

• Proven experience as software architect and expertise in web development, Azure, C#, .NET Core, REST API
• Experience in software development and coding in various languages and tech stacks
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
• Experience with C++, React, Xamarin, Electron JS or any JavaScript framework
• Experience with the Microsoft Azure Cloud environment
• Experience with Azure DevOps build and release pipelines
• Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
• Excellent knowledge of database and other modeling methods
• Understanding of software quality assurance principles
• A technical mindset with great attention to detail
• High quality organizational and leadership skills.
