Ericsson Private 5G (EP5G) is a high-performance, easy-to-use, and highly reliable cellular connectivity product that addresses the industrial market, including indoor and outdoor facilities of all sizes. Main features include high device density capacity, low latency, and powerful security protocols. We are now looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Development team. In this position you will have a meaningful role in our EP5G DevOps team which has the full responsibility for developing and managing our live Cloud Environment. You will continuously encounter new challenges and get the opportunity to drive activities such as management of development and production environments including subsequent automation and feature development. This is supported by close cooperation with software development and customer support teams both locally and on other sites, as well as infrastructure service providers. What you will do

• Develop and manage infrastructure and services, including deployment and management of development, test, staging and production environments
• Administrate Public Cloud environment including Kubernetes clusters, monitoring services, VPN and networking orchestration as well as database management
• Develop functionality supporting overall project infrastructure using Python and Go
• Strive to increase and develop project automation, hence cater for CI/CD flow
• Drive troubleshooting, root cause analysis, provide high quality support and advice to developers and customer support function, hence enable effective development environment and world class customer support
• Drive continuous improvements and innovation of services and development processes

You will bring

A successful candidate is driven, has very good networking, collaboration, and interpersonal skills in English, both in written and oral form, a talent for innovation, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, covering:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar
• Interest and experience of working with:
• Public Cloud
• Kubernetes
• Monitoring services
• VPN and networking
• Infrastructure as code
• Identification/Access management solutions
• Security
• Automation
• Database management (such as SQL)
• Linux
• Eager to learn, curious, solution oriented as well as true standout colleague
• Result oriented, having an innovative mentality and valuing high quality results
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience within the field of DevOps and/or SW development is highly preferred
