Since our start in 2017 we have provided smart tools that help put financial power back in the hands of the people – where we believe it belongs. Everything we do is based on one vision: to improve the world’s financial health.

So far, we’ve helped Swedes, Finns and Germans save millions by refinancing expensive consumer credits. But we aim higher. New markets, new tools, new products and new ways of improving people’s financial lives. This means we need more brains and hearts. More people as passionate as we are. That is why we are currently searching for a Senior Backend Developer!

What you will be doing

As a Senior Backend Developer at Anyfin you will be joining a team with people who are as motivated, helpful and open to change as you are. We have a lot of exciting challenges ahead of us where your skills are needed. How about scaling up and expanding our financial platform to support our rapid growth, or deal with new implementations of products in the new markets we are entering? You will have the chance to be part of building something truly big that really affects people’s lives.

As mentioned, focus will be on our financial systems, which includes;

• Building and designing the core systems for handling loans and payments
• Scale and adapt our systems to support an increasing number of customers and markets
• Creating API's for our mobile app as well as our internal systems
• Building pipelines for data processing and reporting
• Mentor your more junior colleagues
• Work cross-functional with others in our financial department, data scientists, data engineers and business analysts

Who you are

• You have solid experience in building services in either TypeScript/ JavaScript, Python or Go, as they are our main languages. You also have good knowledge in SQL and worked a minimum of 5 years as a developer
• You are familiar with Docker and it is a plus if you have worked with Kubernetes
• As we’re building the foundations of something truly big, it’s extra important that you write clean and readable code
• You have an open mind and like people for what they are
