QA Engineer / End-to-end Tester | Polestar Digital Commerce

We are looking for a QA Engineer / End-to-end Tester to ensure the highest quality in our Digital Commerce solutions.

When purchasing a car, our customers are taken through a journey that starts at Polestar.com and provides them with a digital experience all the way through receiving their new Polestar. At the back end of this journey, we have an order management system that is crucial for the company and to the customer experience - a joint heart of the Polestar commerce solutions.

We are now in need of strengthening our team with capabilities of testing the end-to-end commerce solutions. You will have a home base in the order management system but will be required to test and research issues across the entire suite of commerce systems.

What you'll do

The responsibility for this position will be to ensure the quality of new features by utilizing both automated and manual testing methods and working with Commerce teams to identify risks in new solutions. Other tasks you will be accountable for:

- Ensuring business requirements are fulfilled by testing user stories

- Communicating with Technical Leads and Designers to translate product vision into tests

- Working with teams to identify risks in new solutions

- Analyze bugs and errors found during tests

- Feeding back detailed information of defects found and supporting Technical Leads and Scrum Masters in prioritizing these

- Documenting, evaluating, and improving the tests

- Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience

- Remaining up to date with best practices and industry standards

Who you are

To be successful in this role we believe you have 5-7 years of experience in end-to-end testing and quality assurance. You also tick most of the following boxes:

- Extensive experience in software development and testing by leading test phases and is responsible for the software quality of new initiatives

- High proficiency in/ability to understand programming languages such as PHP, typescript, and .net

- Exceptional attention to detail

- Good understanding of how to work with testing in agile teams
