This is what Vanja, who started as a test engineer with us at RaySearch in 2012, says. Today she is also a scrum master.

The position

Just like Vanja, as a test engineer, you will be part of our R&D department in Stockholm with 200 well-educated and competent software developers, physicists and test engineers.

You will work in a cross-functional, agile team and will mainly work with:

• Design and execution of manual UI tests
• Planning and performing exploratory testing
• Design and programming of automatic UI tests
• Design, compilation and maintenance of test suites
• Test strategy
• Test infrastructure

RayStation

RayStation is a treatment planning system that improves treatment forcancer patients, globally. RayStation was first released in 2009 and about 100 people are developing this product. You will be part of a team that is responsible for a certain functionality, such as treatment with linear accelerators, proton or carbon machines, image processing or integrations. You work widely, including manual system testing and automation of existing manual system tests. For RayStation, we are primarily looking for candidates with up to 5 years' experience.

RayCare

RayCare is an oncology information system, developed to streamline workflows in cancer clinics to facilitate efficient care faster. RayCare was first released in 2017 and about 40 people are developing this product. RayCare is used by all staff at the clinic, is integrated with RayStation and supports communication via HL7 and DICOM. You work widely, including testing the integration between RayCare's various components and between RayCare and RayStation. For RayCare, we are primarily looking for candidates with more than 2 years' experience.

RayIntelligence

RayCare is an oncology analysis system that is used to support analysis of patient populations, research activities, improvements in the workflow for oncology and facilitate adaptation of machine learning in oncology care. RayIntelligence was first released in 2021 and about 10 people are developing this system. RayIntelligence supports cloud storage with advanced data search capabilities with SQL. You will contribute by setting up a good test strategy and infrastructure for testing a cloud system. For RayIntelligence, we are primarily looking for candidates with 2 to 5 years' experience.

RayCommand

RayCommand is an advanced treatment control system that is the link between our products RayStation, RayCare and the treatment machine itself. RayCommand was first released in 2020 and about 20 people are developing this product. RayCommand coordinates the systems involved in treatment, which is important to achieve safe and effective patient care. Working with RayCommand means working close to the machines and in close collaboration with the customers. For RayCommand, we are primarily looking for candidates with 2 to 5 years' experience.

Your profile

Experience in software testing and development is important, but motivation and personality are at least as important as experience. In addition to sharing our great interest in improving cancer care, we see that you want to contribute to a committed team, where each person is involved and creates the common result. We believe that you are structured, accurate and motivated to create tests that provide the conditions for high-quality code.

We believe that you have:

• BSc or MSc in computer science, medtech or similar
• +2 years’ experience in testing and/or development (preferably object-oriented programming)
• Excellent communication skills in English

It is meriting with Swedish skills, experience from the medtech industry, agile working methods and test automation.
