Videquus är ett bolag som erbjuder AI-kameror till hästägare. Vi har uppbackning av starka ägare och en tydlig målgrupp där produkten efterfrågas. Bolaget är sex år gammalt och vi har mer än fördubblat antalet kunder varje år. Nu växlar vi upp och siktar på större tillväxt, även utanför Sverige.

Vårt mål som arbetsgivare är att det ska vara skitkul att jobba och att livet utanför kontoret ska funka. Vår chef säger att det ska vara möjligt att rida i dagsljus på vinterhalvåret, men för dig kanske det betyder att ta en bärs i solen direkt efter lunchen på fredagar eller att få möjlighet att jobba från någon strand under hela december. Att vara anställd i ett litet bolag på väg att göra stor tillväxt har också sina utmaningar. Vi hoppas att du liksom vi tycker att det har sin charm att livevideon plötsligt verkar lagga för alla kunder i Skåne eller att leveransen av kameror blivit försenad dagen före en stor mässa. Sånt som kräver att vi tänker till och hittar lösningar på Google, hos grannens fru som jobbar på ett storbolag eller genom ett gemensamt brainstormingsmöte (med hinkvis av kaffe!). När vi löst problemet gör vi high five och firar – och sen tar vi tag i att bygga strukturen, sätta rutinen och göra ändringarna som krävs för att det inte ska hända igen.

Kort och gott, hos oss är du mer än en utvecklare – du är med och bygger bolaget. Rollen vi nu söker blir en viktig nyckelroll och förväntas kunna strukturera, genomföra och leda arbetet i tech-teamet. Målet är att underhålla och utveckla den teknik som finns och att säkerställa möjligheten att skala upp med fler kameror, fler kunder och så småningom nya funktioner.

Vår kamera är utrustad med en Raspberry pie-enhet som hanteras genom Balena. På raspberryn finns Pyhton-mjukvara som förser vår Java-backend med information om hur hästen beter sig i boxen. I appen, skapad med React, kan användaren se sin häst live, ta del av statistik och bli larmad om något avviker från det normala.

Utöver att förstå och känna dig trygg med stycket ovan, är det också bra om du kan och känner till Spring boot, PostgreSQL, Redux, G-streamer m.fl. Huvudsaken är att du har förmågan att sätta dig in i nya system och har lite ”learn by doing”-mentalitet, det klarar du dig långt på! Du kommer att bli den i bolaget som bestämmer hur vi jobbar med såväl hårdvara som mjukvara och till din hjälp finns en växande organisation. Parallellt med denna rekrytering rekryterar vi ytterligare en utvecklare, kommer du på plats före kommer du att bli involverad i det urvalet.

Vi har kontor på Gårda i Göteborg där vi har två-tre fasta kontorsdagar, övrig tid jobbar du där du får arbetsro och trivs.

HORSE TECH COMPANY SEEKING A FULL-STACK DEVELOPER WITH APP SKILLS!

Videquus is a company that offers AI cameras for horse owners. We are backed by strong owners and have a clear target group where the product is in demand. The company is six years old and we have more than doubled the number of customers every year. Now, we are stepping up and aiming for bigger growth, even outside of Sweden.

Being employed in a small company on the verge of significant growth also has its challenges. We hope that you, like us, find it charming when the live video suddenly seems to lag for all customers in Skåne or when the delivery of cameras is delayed the day before a major trade show. This kind of thing requires us to think and find solutions on Google, with the neighbor's wife who works at a big company, or through a joint brainstorming meeting (with buckets of coffee!). When we solve the problem, we high-five and celebrate, and then we get to work building the structure, establishing routines, and making the necessary changes to ensure that it does not happen again.

In short, with us, you are more than just a developer - you are helping to build the company. The role we are now seeking is a key role and is expected to structure, execute, and lead the work in the tech team. The goal is to maintain and develop the technology that exists and to ensure the ability to scale up with more cameras, more customers, and eventually new features.

Our camera is equipped with a Raspberry Pi unit that is managed through Balena. On the Raspberry Pi, there is Python software that provides our Java backend with information on how the horse behaves in the stall. In the app, created with React, the user can see their horse live, view statistics, and be alerted if something deviates from normal.

In addition to understanding and feeling comfortable with the above paragraph, it is also good if you can and are familiar with Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Redux, G-Streamer, among others. The main thing is that you have the ability to learn new systems and have a "learn by doing" mentality, which will take you far! You will be the one in the company who decides how we work with both hardware and software, and a growing organization will be there to help you. Alongside this recruitment, we are also recruiting another developer, so if you come on board before them, you will be involved in the selection process.

We have an office in Gårda, Gothenburg, where we have two to three fixed office days, and the rest of the time, you work wherever you can find a peaceful and comfortable workspace.
