You ensure we produce seamless solutions in our backend to enable circular living for everyone. You are simply a vital part of the Engineering team in ensuring Sellpy runs smoothly, from architecting new features to integrating external APIs.

In short, you will:
- Master JavaScript and Node.js in the backend of Sellpy’s product
- Continuously improve and simplify Sellpy’s technical system to maintain low complexity
- Drive the technical development of Sellpy’s system forward
- Enable Sellpy Engineers to construct user-centric, next-generation web applications for our customers
- Develop features from start to finish across the stack and take responsibility for your own code
You need:
- Very good knowledge of JavaScript and motivation to perfect your skills in it, or deep knowledge in another backend language and a will to quickly ramp up your JavaScript skills.
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, or a shorter related education with a couple of years of work experience
- Written and spoken fluency in English, as this is our company language
We are impressed if you have:
- Proven ability with a couple of years of experience as a Backend Engineer
- Experience with MongoDB
- Experience working with React.js & React Native
- Worked in a fast-growing, product-focused startup environment
