ARBETSUPPGIFTER
Kontek Lön offers a robust Payroll system for the Swedish market with customers ranging from 50-2500 employees. The software is running on a private cloud and is continuously improved with new features. Due to organizational changes, we are building up a new development team. This means that you will have the opportunity to come with your experience and ideas to set the structure in the way we work going forward.

We are therefore looking for both junior and senior fullstack/backend developers and Manual testers/Quality Assurance engineers to a international team of around 10 people. Maybe you have a friend or colleague you want to work with - take this opportunity and apply both of you! You can work from any of our offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Värnamo, and headquarters in Ljungby and part time work from home.

As a Test engineer you will work mainly with implementing manual test cases for the system, but also analysing the results of automated tests, using agile processes. We are looking for a person who is driven to find more ways to extend test automation and is pleased to study complex business problems. You will work in close collaboration with the developers and have the important role of understanding business needs and how to technically test it to assure the quality of the team output.

QA technology stack: Selenium, JMeter, JUnit, Postman, SoapUI, Play, Scala, JDK 1.8
Since we are building up a new team, you will in the beginning collaborate and progressively take over tasks from existing developers. There are many improvement areas in the development process and we hope you can suggest improvements based upon knowledge and interest in agile, continuous development and DevOps.

Thanks to that Kontek is part of the Visma group since 2021, you will be able to benefit from the large developer community Visma offers with guilds, hackathons and different knowledge sharing platforms.

KVALIFIKATIONER
You have the following experience:
At least 1-2 + years of experience in software testing including:
• Manual testing experience
• Experience of testing in a structured way using test plans, test cases, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar

We see this as advantageous:
• Experience with any of the following technologies: Selenium, JMeter, JUnit, Postman, SoapUI
• Interest in test automation

You are comfortable with and have a good level of English, both in text and speech (B2+ level). Swedish is not a must-have, but positive.
Due to its complexity, development of a payroll system requires good analytical skills, that you are curious, and have excellent problem solving skills. This also means that you are strucured and prefer stability over risk. We are looking for testers enjoying working in an internationally distributed environment.

Regardless of the long list of expectations mentioned above you do not need to be an expert in all areas. Equally important as all tech skills are how you fit the group as a personality.
