This job is a good idea if you are motivated to dive deeper into the world of JavaScript and continue your journey with the React and/or Node.js frameworks. Those are the frameworks that will work as your main toolbox when you solve technical problems with simple solutions. Your deep understanding of technology makes sure we create the right features for our customers that integrate well with Sellpy’s architecture and run well once deployed.
In short, you will:
- Build user-centric, next-generation web applications
- Master JavaScript and the React/React Native & Node framework
- Develop features from start to finish across the stack
- Grow with the responsibility for your own code
- Continuously improve and simplify Sellpy’s clients to maintain low complexity
- Drive the technical development of Sellpy’s clients forward
You need:
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, or a shorter related education with a couple of years of work experience
- Professional experience from a previous engineering role
- Very good knowledge of JavaScript and motivation to perfect your skills in it, or deep knowledge in another language and a will to quickly ramp up your skills in JavaScript.
- Written and and spoken fluency in English, as this is our company language
We are impressed if you have:
- Knowledge of React, React Native, Angular 2+, Vue.js and Node.js
- Worked with cloud providers like AWS
- Experience with MongoDB
- Worked in a fast-growing, product-focused startup environment
- A history of continuous integration and deployment
