Pharmetheus is a global pharmacometrics consultancy company, focused on applying quantitative approaches to support drug development decisions in all clinical development phases and most therapeutic areas.

Pharmetheus' main premises is in Uppsala, Sweden. Our physical footprint stretches beyond Uppsala through our office network in Stockholm, Basel, Utrecht, Paris and home office networks in Europe and North America.

We are a motivated, dedicated, and growing group of 80+ people, currently undergoing exciting developments and we are looking to expand our capacities and capabilities in our tools and process development. Consequently, we are now looking for a new Systems Developer to join our team.

Your role:

As a Systems Developer you will:

* Plan, perform and maintain software, tools, and technical development.
* Implement software, tools, and scripts to be used internally and/or for clients.
* Maintenance of software, tools, and scripts.
* Write and maintain software documentation.
* Plan, system design and project manage the software development.
* Report progress, identify risks and opportunities to stakeholders within own responsibility, ongoing and in pipeline.
* Actively sharing knowledge with, and seeking advice from, Pharmetheus' colleagues.
* When relevant, providing constructive feedback to colleagues, and being receptive to feedback from others on own work.

Your skills and qualifications:

To be a good match for this position, you should have a programming background/education, with at least a bachelor's degree in system development or Higher Vocational Education. Furthermore, experience from working with software development in the pharmaceutical industry, in the pharmacometrics consultancy business, in regulatory environment or in academia is meritorious.

It is a merit if you have experience in R/Shiny or similar techniques since most of our tools are developed in R. Furthermore, it's a merit if you have worked with LaTeX, Git, SQL databases, HTML/JavaScript programming, software testing and documentation.

We expect that you are communicative and have a fluent oral and written English. You are flexible, committed to your work, and have a strong sense of responsibility. Further, it is important that you pick up new knowledge quickly and are used to working against a deadline.
