Senior Data Engineer

In this role, you will have the opportunity to join our data driven journey and be part of building and running data pipelines, data warehouse, data frameworks or different data presentation techniques. You will get great opportunity to work closely with our business and the data team to build state of the art data solutions and you will report to the Engineering Manager.

Job Description

As a part of this role you will be:

- Developing and optimizing our data pipelines and ETL processes.

- Support development of our Data-Warehouse

- Develop specific analytics for business metrics, reports, and dashboards

- Ensure our data pipelines are compliant with all applicable regulations (GDPR, market specific Healthcare data laws)

- Work with product managers, software engineers, DevOps, and other stakeholders across the business to define data solutions catering to business needs.

- Support scaling up current systems and platform across markets as we continue to grow enabling our vision of being a Data Driven Organization.

- Take ownership and responsibility for the quality of our data in consideration w.r.t. efficiency and performance.

- Use state-of-the-art data processing frameworks, technologies, and platforms to help the team achieve desired outcome.

You should have:

- At least 4 years of experience in data engineering (data management, pipeline programming, advanced analytics development), including building data pipelines on-prem and in cloud environments.

- Proficiency in at least Python, SQL (Postgres is a plus) and bash.

- Experience with Docker (Kubernetes is a plus).

- Proficiency in developing analytics and dashboards in one of the market leading tools (PowerBI, Tableau, QlikSense, QuickSight). Knowledge of PowerBI/Dax is a plus.

- Experience with designing and architecting cloud-based data solutions (Azure, AWS or GCP).

- Solid software architecture skills, keen on leveraging patterns to write code that is resilient, scalable, and maintainable.

- Experience with CI/CD, Agile, DevOps, Terraform (or other IaC tools) is a plus.
