Graphics Software Developer

Repli5 helps train and validate autonomous vehicle systems. We develop software to automate the creation of 3D virtual worlds, used for simulations of autonomous vehicles.

We’re recruiting a Graphics Software Engineer to join our software development team and help us keep improving our 3D editing tools and adding new features to these.

Responsibility

• Contribute to the development of software focused on automating the creation of synthetic worlds and environments.
• Work independently with an ability to take decisions and contribute with ideas and solutions to the challenges faced during development.
• Develop and implement algorithms related to 3D geometry processing.
• Write high-quality code with an emphasis on performance and ease of maintenance.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and act on their feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor/master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a similar field.
• 2+ years of experience in graphics software engineering.
• Confident programming in C++ and Python.
• Knowledge in 3D computer graphic software tools, algorithms and data structures related to geometry processing and computational geometry.
• Experience with CGI softwares and tools such as Blender or Unreal Engine.
• Fluent in English.

Desired Skills, Interests, or Experiences

• Experience with photogrammetry and related methodologies.
• Knowledge or interest in simulators used within the development of autonomous systems.
• Knowledge or interest in geographic information systems (GIS) and data such as OSM or GeoTIFF.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and continuous integration.
