By joining Volvo Group Digital & IT in Umeå, you will be a part of a fail-friendly environment focused on learning and sharing experiences. We aim to support the IT solutions that run the Volvo Group Trucks production plant in Umeå, producing cabins for Volvo Trucks.

The product teams in Umeå deliver in-house developed solutions and COTS enabling the factory to produce truck cabins of the highest quality. Our IT deliveries and solutions covers capabilities from planning and order management to execution and communication to robotics and automation

Responsibilities

• Support the product Owner and team in aligning the Product Roadmap to the architectural guidelines and roadmaps.
• Drive the work needed for integrations with other systems together with their representatives.
• Resolve architectural issues e.g., escalated from projects & solutions.
• You will be responsible as an architect for both one-time and maintenance projects.
• Define and design as-is and to-be solutions and integrational flows.

Profile/Experience

• Proven track record of work experience as an architect or senior developer prior to this in an agile context.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Good knowledge of modern software engineering principles and best practices.
• Strong Experience in .NET C#, Microsoft Azure DevOps
• Experience of integrational techniques such as IBM MQ is a bonus.
