About you:

In this role, you will be driving IT development and enhancements of our digital solutions. You will contribute to the overall mission by providing technical leadership for development and operations of IT solutions in the Customer Experience area.

We believe you have a background where you can combine technical skills with business process understanding such as experience from agile development and DevOps methods including understanding of end-to-end Software Delivery Lifecycle processes. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant platforms & technologies in full stack web development, experience of enterprise software using an API oriented architecture is also valuable.

Key accountabilities for the role:

  • Responsibility to drive and support delivery team’s overall mission including technical ownership of team’s deliveries & performance of solution.
  • Lead and support the team in software development, technical architecture, and engineering work.
  • Hands-on software development as well as contributing to DevOps practices, processes, and tooling.
  • Develops and manages architectural and software development artifacts for applications and platforms within scope.
  • Responsible for securing and safeguarding the integrity of the solution architecture in line with domain architecture.
  • Drives and follow up key decisions regarding architecture and design for a specific solution that is flexible, re-usable and in sync with changing business needs.
  • Promotion of best practice architecture to secure robust solutions.
  • Develop and maintain expertise and best practice in relevant area including business processes, technologies, applications, and relevant data.

 If all that sounds appealing, then here is what we would like you to demonstrate:

  • Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience; Minimum of 3 years working with leading software development.
  • Experience from agile development and DevOps methods including understanding of end-to-end Software Delivery Lifecycle processes.
  • System thinking with comprehensive knowledge of relevant platforms & technologies in full stack web development, experience of enterprise software using an API oriented architecture.
  • Frontend development skills in JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, Angular, React. Mainly focus on Angular.
  • Backend development skills in .NET / Python / SQL
  • Good knowledge of consuming and building REST APIs.
  • Experience from cloud solutions such as Azure and Elastic.
  • Experience from optimizing the DevOps toolchain using Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket and related tools.
  • Experience from global web-, mobile initiatives and eCommerce.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills & relations with ability to work effectively with stakeholders in complex organizations.
