About the role as Test Lead
As Test Lead at Avinode you will be working in cross functional teams with skilled Engineers and Developers to understand the feature requirements and design a testing strategy that minimizes bugs. You will act as a product expert and have the responsibility to test new features and codes, as well as regression testing existing application features. Further on you will work together with the technical teams to maximize automated test coverage in a continuous integration environment.

You will also take part in daily stand up, planning and retrospective meetings. You will be active in guilds and other forums to spread your knowledge of testing best practices.

Your main responsibilities:

• Be a product expert.
• Test new features and code, as well as regression testing of existing application features.
• Work with the technical teams to understand feature requirements and design testing strategies.
• Work to maximize automated test coverage.
• Participate in daily stand ups, planning, guilds and other forums.

About you
To be successful in the role as Test Lead we believe that you have experience within software testing, advanced technical support or from similar backgrounds. You are familiar with JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins or similar as a tech stack and have good knowledge within iOS and Mac. It is also important that you are fluent in English since this is Avinode’s corporate language.

We are looking for someone that is a team player with great communicative skills. You actively share your knowledge and ask for help when needed. It is also important that you have an eye for quality and have the ability to multitask between different projects and enjoy an agile environment.

Important for the position:

• Experience within software testing, advanced technical support or similar.
• Familiar with JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins or similar.
• Good knowledge within iOS and Mac.
• Fluent in English.
• Great communicative skills.
