Job Description

As an Algorithm Developer within Autonomous Systems and a member of an agile team, you will join a group of three people whose main task is to bring the best environmental sensing solution to the market for autonomous driving in confined areas. The sensing solution provides quality-assured data to the self-driving system. They work with different sensor techniques such as radar, lidar, IMU, and RTK-GNSS. All of their development is done in close cooperation with teams for computational platform, sensor fusion, localization, etc.

You will work with all sensor modalities, mainly Lidar and radar, and also help out with other tasks within the scope of the team.

Job duties

You will be part of an exciting project where the company is pursuing potential environmental and productivity benefits. You will bring new solutions to the market and work with:

• Data analysis of data/log files to characterize and formulate the sensing problem
• Develop filters/algorithms to classify sensor data in different ways
• Sensor extrinsic calibration
• Integrate filters into runtime code

We are looking for

Someone who enjoys problem-solving, communicating with others, and frequently comes up with creative ideas. You should also have:

• A relevant university degree, such as computer technology, electrical engineering, or a similar field
• Experience with sensors, either from courses during your education or your own projects
• A strong interest in robotics and programming using languages such as C++ and Python, which you have either gained through studies or personal projects
• A B/BE driver´s license
