Integration Developer

In this role you will work with maintaining and developing solutions for integrating on-prem and cloud systems with our Salesforce platform. You will translate user needs into technical solutions with high quality. The complexity of the role will make your days challenging and fun and the problems you will take on will inspire you. With Salesforce as platform, we as a team deliver a workflow for our sales, marketing and support organizations worldwide. We serve all of Axis in all its offers, so to succeed you need to be interested both in our business as well as the platform and our underlaying on prem systems. It's complex, and it's fun!
Do you like to have your head in the clouds but not afraid of taking a deep dive? That is what the everyday in this team looks like. You need to be visionary and at the same time dive into the details of a solution and work both in the clouds but also implement solutions connected to our on prem systems. The team is structured and have a well thought out process where IT product owners, Architects, Technical lead together with the whole team create the best possible circumstances for you as a developer to focus on using your skills and creativity to build and develop the platform.

You will be able to keep focus on coding, and you will have clear purpose and understand why your work is important what will be accomplished through your and the team's efforts. The team always has a helping hand to offer, and you will be able to turn to anyone to push though when you are stuck and exchange your ideas with.

What you'll do here as a Integration developer:
You will solve problems. Explore what connecting data really can accomplish both from a business side and technical perspective. Work with modernizing and evolve the way we build integration to and from cloud systems. Maintain and adjust current applications for integrations and develop new ones. Be part of developing and take responsibility for keeping up the long-term architectural paths in our Salesforce platform the way we integrate other systems. You will have to take in all the details of your assignments to be able to create a solution that fulfills the needs and goal of Axis with all your knowledge and experience.

Furthermore, you will:

* Work with integrations to both internal systems and external cloud systems
* Build solutions connected to and within our Salesforce platform
* Sometimes help the testers if something is extra tricky
* Evolve and develop our dev, test, stage, and production environments
* Work with, write and consume API: s, (mostly REST)

Who are you?
You are a passionate problem solver and a team player with a few years of experience as a backend developer or experience working with SaaS-platform development. You have no problems in turning needs into technical solutions and you can foresee and explain consequences of choices being made. You have a user centric starting point in your technical suggestions. You are hungry for knowledge and is never done learning new things that you can add to your toolbox. You think that a deep dive into Sales force development and universe is a welcome challenge. You have a true interest in technology and in particular integration architecture and techniques.

We'd love to hear that you have:

* Long time experience working as a back-end developer
* Good knowledge of Python, Java, Spring boot, Kotlin or other backend languages
* Experience of RabbitMQ or similar
* Experience of Azure, AWS, Kubernetes and Docker
* Experience to work with, write and consume API:s, (mostly REST)

It's a plus if you have/are:

* Worked in Git and have experience from Gerrit and Jenkins
* Experience from other global enterprise companies
* Dedication to testing, code reviews and other quality-oriented practices supporting workflows are highly valuable
* Experience from previous SaaS-platform development
* Speak Swedish and/or English fluently

But the most important part is your attitude. A mix of curiosity and reflection is what will be needed, since we have a lot of mandate in our team. Since collaboration is key to success at Axis, you are good at communication. Your closest manager would be Niklas Nilsson, Manager Sales- and marketing business integrations.
