Within R&D, there’s a skilled team of software developers working on developing and maintaining our Test Framework and Tools. We are now looking to grow the team, and we are searching for a software developer who enjoys working in Linux, the open source community and solve challenging problems!

Are you our new Software Developer for Test Framework & Tools?

Delivering reliable products with top quality is key for us at Westermo. At the same time, we want new products and features to reach our customers with short lead time. Therefor we invest a lot in test automation and tools to make automation as easy as possible, and every night, we run close to 5000 automatic tests!

In this role, you will be part of a team of six software developers that is developing our Test Framework and surrounding tools used for system level testing of network solutions for our data communication products. We strive to implement automation in everything we do, and we are constantly trying out new methods that can help us fulfill current and future demands.

We are currently developing the next generation of our Test framework and Tools to meet future demands on scalability and reduced complexity for end users. While doing that we will change the main programming language from Python to Go. We focus on scaling test capabilities by using virtualization with Docker and Kubernetes and redesign web interfaces for configurations and visualizations of results.

Requirements:

- Academic degree in Computer Science or similar

- Familiar with Linux environment

- Experience in programming with Python and/or Go

Meritorious:

- Experience with tools such as Docker and/or Kubernetes

- Fluent in English and at least intermediate in Swedish

- Experience in front-end or back-end development

- Knowledge in Network Technologies
