In the role of Tech Lead at IST, you will lead a team of developers and oversee the advancement of technical innovations to ensure quality that is expected of IST products. Collaboration with other teams is key in identifying and implementing technical solutions to business issues, while working closely with our architects to enhance our architectural principles and technical strategies.

We expect you to work with continuous improvement of your craftsmanship and our ways of working. Additionally, the Tech Lead gets the chance to staying up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry and apply those to our systems.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have good leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, extensive knowledge of software development methodologies, and a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

About you
To be the ideal candidate for this job, you have several years of experience as a developer working on both the backend and frontend. You are also enthusiastic about modern technologies and work in a structured manner. As you will be interacting with many people outside of your team, you should also be an effective communicator.

While being technically proficient is important, you should also understand that aspects of development such as readable and testable code, ease of operation, and an outstanding user experience (including performance considerations) are key success factors for any software.
