Senior Software Engineer

We are looking to extend our Operations Software team in Billdal/Nya Hovås with a Software Engineer to develop new and maintain software used in production. The software developed by the team is used through the whole process such as manufacturing, planning, BI, calibrating, and creating certificates.

The team

Our team includes both Software Engineers as well as a Test Engineer and a Business System Analyst. We are a small diverse group with both Swedish and international members. The mix of competencies in the same team is our strong side and makes our day-to-day work exciting and fun. The team’s goal is to provide and support software solutions which are easy to use at our global production sites, as well as securing high quality products for our end customers.

Responsibilities

· Maintain high quality of our production software throughout product and process improvements

· Follow quality requirements to ensure software changes are in compliance with our ISO certifications

· Take responsibility for your deliveries from pre-work to implementation

· Contact with both product owners and users to finalize specifications

· Work closely with the test engineer in our group during the whole process

· Day-to-day support of our production sites in both Sweden and the USA

Experience

· M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree within software development and some years of working experience.

· required skills you possess are C#, .NET, desktop applications, web development and Microsoft SQL

· experience within databases, Oracle SQL, statistics, and measurement technology is an advantage

· experience with agile work methods is an advantage
