Java Software Developer - Gothenburg

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Java Software Developer who is experienced working with Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, REST, JSON. Knowledge of relational database.

What you'll do:

● Work with an experienced development team on the ARO application; an order scheduling system used by order coordinators and production planners globally.

● Ensuring the code meets the required development standards and is optimized for performance.

● Research new technologies or methodologies that can improve the architecture, user experience, or development process.

● Collaborate with the rest of the project members and the engagement manager to design and launch new features.

● Developing application codes and unit tests in Java Technologies, and Rest Web Services.

Who you are:

● Good knowledge of relational database, Websphere, Openshift, RCP, Hibernate, JPA, MVC, MQ, Maven, Git.

● Several years of experience with Java, REST /JSON, and database modelling (preferably experience with DB2).

● Have expert level knowledge of Micro services architecture, full test automation (Selenium/Zalenium), Prometheus, Grafana, Angular JS, SQL and have a good understanding of UX Design.

● Excellent communication and mentoring skills and can write and speak in English.

● Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
