About the role

As our Cloud Security Engineer you will, together with our tech team and developers, enable a secure and dynamic environment for our SaaS product by constantly challenge our security standards, finding improvements, performing pen-testing and audits, and monitoring security related changes. You will document and work with security/IT certifications to make sure we are compliant and are following best practices around configurations, workflow and processes.

About you

· You have an analytical approach to problem-solving, good communication skills and an interest in technology and to cooperate with colleagues at Xensam.

· You have a background in Linux with a focus on security.

· You feel comfortable with performing pen-testing and security audits on different technologies to find areas of improvement.

· You have some experience from a product company environment running in a private or public cloud technology such as Linux VMs, OpenStack and/or Kubernetes.

Qualifications

· At least a couple of years of work experience within the IT-security area

· Experienced in Linux environments (Ubuntu/CentOS) with a focus on security hardening

· Knowledge around container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

· Comfortable with scripting in Bash/Python/JavaScript or similar tools used for pen-testing

· Knowledgeable and aware of general best practices in security

· Experience from working with SIEM, IPS, IDS, antivirus/firewalls and similar security tools

· Have a “problem solving mind” and develop new skills for yourself when needed

· Working proficiency in both Swedish and English is preferable

Bonus points for

· Experience from SOC2 and/or ISO27001 processes

· Any security related certifications
