Do you want to help us transform our current Data Warehouse into a full-fledged Data Platform?
Hemnet is the largest property portal in Sweden, and as such, we handle vast amounts of data and events related to the use of our web site and apps. We believe that we have only scratched the surface when it comes to turning this data into products and analyses for user and market benefit.
We have taken the first steps on our exciting journey to build a new Data Platform.We have several exciting challenges ahead of us, including choosing the products and services to form the Data Platform, integration with the Hemnet site and analytics tools, and much more.
Our current Data Warehouse was built in-house using AWS services and event tracking using a hybrid solution with Snowplow and GA4/BigQuery. The goals for the new Data Platform are: All data in one place, together with unified tracking.
We see the need to strengthen our team of Data Engineers.
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with solid knowledge from working with large amounts of data and events, building aggregation pipelines, and serving data to products and users from a Data Warehouse or a Data Platform.
The Data Engineers at Hemnet are part of the larger Platform team, with an overall responsibility for Hemnet’s infrastructure, DevOps tooling and environments, and the development of Machine Learning components. Knowledge about cloud infrastructure and Python coding is therefore a plus.
We see great opportunities ahead leveraging our vast data sources to both broaden and deepen our analytics department and build new data-driven products to serve our customers.
