Infotainment Engineer

Software Developer for the next generation of Infotainment System based on Android Automotive!

You will be part of a cross functional software team where the core will be development using mainly C++ in test driven development. The teams consist of many competences and over time you will become a skilled T-shaped engineer. The infotainment platform is completely developed on Android and the team will continue develop multiple features and products on it from very low-level development to the application layer. 

Functions and areas will include: 
Personalization & Vehicle functionality- Create and use personal profiles. Develop interactions throughout the car, climate control, charging, active safety etc.
Positioning & Maps
Core HMI
Camera
BT telephony
Security
Base Tech
OTA & Diagnostics

Your main focus will be to deliver software that is able to function well within the given requirements. This includes flexible, maintainable, and extendable solutions to support the development. You will also handle the quality assurance by doing code reviews, introducing standards and engage in discussions about how to implement new and innovative ideas.

A wish list of skills suitable for this position:
Development using C++, Java, Kotlin and the Android tool set - Linux development toolchain (git, gerrit, etc.).
Experience of Android Automotive development.
Software development in the full vertical Android stack for the infotainment system
Efficient SW test methods, including automated unit and integration testing.
Agile software development.
