System Software Developer - Public Safety

Our teams empower customers with tools to support their patients and help save lives. We currently have seven business areas that develop specialised software solutions across medical fields and emergency services. At CSAM you’ll be close to customer needs and your work will have an impact where it matters most.

Our Public Safety business area provides robust systems for managing every aspect of emergency response.

We are on a journey to migrate our software for mission critical operations such as Emergency Response (112) or Search and Rescue system to the Cloud, therefore, as our System Software Developer you will work with exploring and implementing new technologies and refactor/evolve our platform together with our Solution and SW architects, and work with the development teams to support the implementation.

As our System Software Developer you will:

- Evolve our software stack to be prepared for Cloud deployment, leveraging modern web technologies.

- Identify and remove bottlenecks in the system

- Make our software stack multi-platform (Microsoft and Linux).

Our tech stack:

We have a complete software stack with both back-end and front-end (User Interface) products that are integrated together into our system solution. Our products’ target characteristics are user-friendly, automation and simplicity.

Your matching strengths for our role:

- University degree in Software Engineering, or similar.

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a System or Back-End developer.

- C#, and .NET

- Linux

- Containers

- Web technologies and development tools.

- Great communication skills in both English and Swedish.

- Teamwork oriented.

- Strong "Can-do-attitude", fearless, proactive, and driven.

- Passionate about innovation.

Would be great, but not mandatory, if you have:

- Knowledge of security solutions.

- Knowledge of database management.
