UX/UI Designer

As a UX/UI designer at App Shack, you'll collaborate with clients and fellow team members to build clean and compelling user experiences. You thrive working cross-functionally and enjoy conducting product discovery, research, and workshops. When you craft wireframes, flows, and prototypes, you keep perspective as you dive into the details. Most importantly, you know how to balance needs from business stakeholders, engineering, and end-users while producing state-of-the-art UI and UX.

You have a favorite set of tools to solve problems creatively, and you enjoy collaborating with your team. You're comfortable working in a consultative environment and are great at communicating with clients. You look forward to working with your talented colleagues to build our clients' products.

What we are looking for

We prioritize finding individuals who share our values and are eager to learn and grow with us. This approach allows us to build a team that is not only talented and capable but also passionate and committed to our shared goals.

Ideally, you:

• speak and write English well
• can engage with product management, engineering, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors
• can develop and present documentation, user flows, annotated wireframes, and interactive prototypes
• can apply established design standards consistently and appropriately
• can leverage user testing to make product improvements

Bonus if you:

• can facilitate discovery/evaluative workshops with colleagues and clients
• are a visual designer
• have degree in human-computer interaction (HCI), design, or a related field of study
