Are you an experienced test engineer who has worked with embedded software or cloud? Or are you a newly graduated engineer with an interest in software testing and knowledge in network communication? Perhaps it's time for a new challenge within one of the region's largest Quality Assurance organizations? We are now looking for new colleagues to our Safe City Test team, working with body worn camera solutions.
Who is your future team?
The Safe City Test team is responsible for software testing of Axis' solution for body worn cameras. The solution consists of products with embedded software, applications, and services. You can read more about the solution area here.
The team is composed of skilled test engineers who are deeply committed to contributing to the release of high-quality products and solutions. The team members work closely with the development teams and product management.
What will you do as a test engineer?
You will together with the other test engineers work with software testing of new features and products within the body worn camera solution. The tasks for the team include:
* Implementing functional and non-functional test cases (manual and automatic)
* Creating and executing exploratory tests
* Tool development
* Analyzing logs and test results
* Verifying bug fixes
* Developing and improving test environments and test methods
Who are we looking for?
We expect that you are enthusiastic about quality and contributing to a great customer experience. It is also important that you appreciate problem solving and genuinely enjoy engaging with co-workers to get work done.
We'd love to hear that you have
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer science or equivalent
* Experience or sincere interest in software testing
* Knowledge or experience in embedded software or cloud.
* Knowledge in network communication
* Programming skills
Bonus points for:
* Knowledge or experience of implementing code in Python
* Knowledge or experience of working in a Linux environment
