Jeppesen AB is currently looking for a passionate individual who wants to join our Customer Success Service Management team. We are seeking a Long Term Crew Planning Senior Specialist to join the Gothenburg office to help assist and enable our customers to receive maximum value of the Manpower solution. The position is based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

You will play an important role in working with the strategic objectives for the crew planning department. Stretching your skills when it comes to Customer adoption, collaboration, growth mindset and problem solving. We look for people who are passionate about driving value for our Commercial Airline Customers. Manpower Planning Solution supports the strategic plan for the long term crew management at an airline. Manpower Planning Solution keeps the administration of an airline’s supply and demand for crew, offers optimized solutions and scenarios on how to operate in a cost efficient way.

About Jeppesen Manpower Planning

Manpower Planning helps airlines make informed, data-driven decisions to optimize resources by:

  • Improving crew utilization through optimized training planning and resource planning decisions
  • Developing more precise budgets and forecasts through integration and calculation granularity
  • Developing and comparing different scenarios based on key performance objectives
  • Exploring what-if scenarios to plan for any contingency

Position responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in the use of our Manpower crew planning software.
  • Proactively advising customers of new capabilities that can help them support their company’s workforce objectives.
  • Communicate with customer and internal stakeholders (including executives) ensuring that developed solutions are aligned with the requirements.
  • Perform some maintenance activities including software configuration.
  • Participate in the implementation life cycle as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) starting from project kick-off and Business Assessment through product implementation in Customer production environment.
  • Collaborate in a team environment with project managers, implementation and portfolio management resources to meet customer expectations regarding solution implementation & issue resolution.

Basic Qualifications (required skills and experience)

  • 3 + years of experience (or similar) in a manpower planner capacity
  • Skill and ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
  • Ability to map customers business processes to product capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and end users.
  • Ability to identify, understand and analyze complex system problems.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Good understanding on solving manpower optimization problems.
  • Experience with interfaces and data integration, database configuration, and XML extensions
  • Ability to read Python code or similar programming language.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, other technical computing or business discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiar with Customer Success and the LAER Model (Land, Adopt, Expand, Renew)
