As a UX/UI Designer in the patient app product area, you will join a top-tier team including designers, engineers and product managers to create great experiences for our patients. We put our users first, and let both our guts and data inform our work. In your role you will have the full support of the team. The team is a platform for exchanging ideas, seeking feedback, and growing as an individual. We are looking for a designer that truly cares about the user experience and is not afraid to try new things. You will be involved in all stages of the product development process, from researching and brainstorming concepts to iterating and validating solutions before delivering final design to the team. You know how to identify high impact design patterns, and we'd love if you told us about some of your favorite apps!


Responsibilities

  • Solve challenging design problems and own the design process every step of the way, from whiteboard sketching to mapping user flows, craft hypotheses, design and run experiments, prototype interactions and deliver assets to be implemented in the launch of new features and services
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers and Strategists to understand user needs, define problems and set goals
  • Deliver great looking and well structured design files in Figma
  • Identify new UX opportunities based on user behaviour and inspiration from other apps
  • Collaborate and engage with colleagues throughout projects including tight feedback loops
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
  • Maintain and grow our design system and standards
  • Stay up-to-date with design best practices

Requirements

  • A Bachelor or Master degree in design, visual arts or equivalent
  • 3+ years of professional design experience with iOS and Android apps
  • Strong aesthetic skills regarding colors, typography and layout
  • A will to test new ideas and to take inspiration from others
  • Attention to details when it comes to interfaces and interactions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently when needed
  • Familiarity with working in agile projects with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge about user metrics such as conversion, engagement and retention
  • Expert skills in Figma
  • Professional fluency in English
  • In order for us to consider your application, you must hold a valid Swedish work permit

It’s a bonus if you have:

  • Experience with motion design, illustration, user research or copywriting
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience from conducting usability testing and user research
  • Designed for apps with large user bases (100 000+ MAU)
  • Understand the fundamentals of SaaS, D2C and Growth mechanics
  • Previous experience from the healthcare industry
  • Spent time at a startups
