Automated Test Engineer

As Software Engineer with test focus at Rapid, you will ensure a good integration to the CI/CD flow in collaboration with the developers. You will designing and developing test automation script, collaborate with software developers to develop solutions, prepare reports and analysis. You will need to be able to extract requirements from user stories and test those accordingly. You should also keep updated with the latest industry developments.

We are looking for someone with experience in the following tech stack:

• JavaScript
• TypeScript
• Cypress
• Jest
• SauceLabs
• Xray/Zephyr
• Node.js
• Docker

Skills that are advantageous:

• ImageMagick, GraphicsMagic or Sharp
• React
• Cucumber
• Gherkin
• Can query a relational or non-relational database

You have a great understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and Cypress. We believe that you have a bachelor's or higher degree in computer science, software development, or a related field. You should also have a couple of years of previous experience as a software engineer and were focusing primarily on automated testing as of last. As a person you can work independently and show results but at the same time be able to collaborate in a Scrum team.
