Welcome to the engineering team
As a Frontend Engineer at GOALS you will build our companion app from scratch. The companion app is core to our game and where our players will manage their teams as well as sell/buy/trade their assets on our marketplace. The app is web based but will be designed to be primarily accessed from mobile devices.

You will work closely with our backend engineers, product managers and UX designers to deliver a web app targeting millions of players. In this role you will have the opportunity to drive direction, find and decide suitable tools and frameworks and create technical solutions at scale.

At GOALS, you will...

- Participate in designing our companion app

- Implementing and building our companion app from scratch

Ideally you have...

- a passion for building user-friendly applications with a thorough understanding of technical and functional design

- strong demonstrable knowledge in Frontend technologies (ex. Typescript, Javascript, React, CSS)

- Experience building large-scale front-end apps

- Experience handling complex problems at scale

- Experience from agile development

Bonus points for...

- Experience with cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure)

- Experience with UI metrics and A/B testing/experiments

- Experience from full stack development

- Experience working with Product Design or UI/UX

About the Employment
The position is permanent and you can work from our Stockholm office, hybrid or fully remote from anywhere in Europe. It is important that you are able to communicate unhindered in verbal/written English.
