Product Designer

About the role

Betao provides services and tools for hundreds of thousands of self-employed entrepreneurs in France. Our main product is a web-based SaaS application helping small businesses with company creation, invoicing, online payments, website building, tax declarations, and everything small companies might need to create and develop their business. We are looking for a Product Designer to help us shape that product.

What You'd Be Working On

• Ideate, prototype, wireframe, and design our web applications
• Architect and iterate over our Design Systems to bring visual consistency to the product as well as speed up the design process
• Provide structure to the design process and clarity in communications
• Bring a strong eye for visual design while always keeping in mind user experience, simplicity, and ease of use
• As part of the UX/UI design team, work alongside product managers to bring their vision to life, and with developers to guide them through implementing the designs and provide them with all necessary assets

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate has previously taken part in designing web-based SaaS applications, from ideating using wireframes all the way to working with developers in production.

• 3+ years of product design experience, ideally with skills and knowledge in both UX and UI
• Experience in creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and visual designs ready to be implemented
• Expertise in Figma, Sketch, or similar tools
• Experience in developing and working with design systems
• Spoken and written fluency in English
• General understanding of web development and feasibility of designs
