Senior Data Engineer - Stockholm

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who is experienced in data processing frameworks (Kafka, IBM MQ etc) and different data lakes or warehouses.

What you'll do:

● Design and implement efficient data models that support analytical requirements in Azure and Power BI.

● Write complex queries and using Transact-SQL (T-SQL) to retrieve, transform, and aggregate data from various sources.

● Design and implement solutions around data warehouse implementation ranging from architecture, ETL processes, multidimensional modelling, and data marts implementation.

● Integrate datasets and dataflows using a variety of best-in-class software as well as profile and analyze large and complex datasets from disparate sources.

● Work in interdisciplinary teams that combine technical, business and data science competencies.

Who you are:

● Have experience in leading, managing, coaching, and mentoring developers & leaders toward delivering timely, high-quality software together with them.

● Understanding data security principles, implementing role-based access controls, and adhering to data governance policies when working with sensitive information.

● Sound knowledge of building data pipelines, datasets, and data architecture from raw and unstructured data.

● Experience designing and implementing data ingestion solutions on Azure/AWS/GCP using different approaches.

● Have experience building data products incrementally and managing various integrations and resources.
