Position Details and Application

The position is full-time, on-site at Softube headquarters in Linköping Sweden, and we would like to fill this position as soon as possible. EU citizen applicants are very welcome, many of our current employees are from other countries than Sweden, and English is spoken at the office.

Job Description

As a Senior developer you have a great opportunity to be able to work with the more advanced features of the C++ language as well as other technical issues when the need arises. We are looking for someone with at least 6 years of experience within the field of software development not only well versed in C++ but also in Python and build system development as well. The job involves, among other things, crafting the graphical user interfaces for our plug-ins, plug-in data management such as session recall and presets, internal and/or external communication between plug-ins, long and short-term development of our build system and tracking down hard-to-find bugs in a large codebase. As a person you should be technically skilled and talented, analytical and be able to cope with difficult problems both on your own and as part of a team. You also need to have a sense of “the big picture” and bring a long-term perspective to the development process.

Required Qualifications

• Relevant degree.
• At least 6 years working with software development.
• Very good knowledge of C/C++.
• Very good knowledge of Python.
• Very good knowledge of Git.
• Experience working with build systems.
• Good understanding of different CPU architectures.
• English language, both in text and speech.
