What will you do?


As a software developer you will mainly work with development and maintenance of applications for controlling our Phadia Instruments. The software team provide several desktop and web application products, which are used for running Phadia Laboratory Systems and for the world-wide support of instruments. In this role you will use C#/.NET with Microsoft's latest development environments and tools. There will also be opportunities to work with web services and related technologies and tools.


You will be working with specifications, development and testing of software and instrument functions, through the entire product life cycle from new products to support and improvement of existing products.


In practice, this means:

Development of specifications based on customer requirements


Design, development and testing of software


Participate in the verification work


Participate in and drive new ways of working, including introducing new technologies


Working with risk management and handling of complaints in accordance with our quality management system


Writing and updating design documentation


Participate in product maintenance and 3rd line support to our customers worldwide


How will you get there?


We are looking for a person with a higher education degree or Master of Science in computer engineering, electrical engineering, engineering physics or similar, with at least 5 years of work experience in full-stack software development.


We develop software for diagnostic systems under regulatory requirements, so you need to have solid personal integrity and awareness of the importance of documentation, rules and procedures that need to be addressed.


SQL Server competence would be necessary, and Oracle would be a plus. Furthermore, good experience of Entity Framework 6 is also necessary, and Entity Framework Core would be great. The person must be a software engineer with solid experience in C#, .NET.
