Role Description
As a Senior Azure Services Lead, you will will have the overarching responsibility for our Azure infrastructure and play a vital role in managing and optimizing Azure services. As an example, with a specific emphasis on services related to document information extraction, text parsing, search, and indexing, your work will feed AI services curated (proprietary) data sets allowing our clients to make use of these exciting technological breakthroughs.

Your primary objective will be to utilize Azure technologies to assist in building and deploying advanced AI solutions for our clients. Collaborating closely with the rest of the team, you will design, implement, and maintain Azure-based applications and services, ensuring optimal performance, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for continuously monitoring the technological environment, keeping up with trends in AI-related Azure services. By ensuring that our services remain technologically competitive and align with good practice and industry standards, you help shaping our product roadmap and driving continuous improvement.

Key accountabilities:

- Designing and implementing effective Azure-based solutions.

- Maximizing performance, scalability, and cost efficiency in Azure.

- Ensuring compliance.

- Staying up to date with Azure developments.

- Trend spotting.

Responsibilities:

- Strong overall experience and understanding of Azure services and solutions, especially related to cognitive services.

- Proficiency in Python programming and a proven track record in developing AI-related applications and services.

- Solid understanding of search and indexing concepts and services, such as Azure Cognitive Search, to enable efficient information retrieval.

- Experience with document information extraction and text parsing using Azure Form Recognizer or similar technologies.

- Familiarity with creating Azure-based applications and services, including knowledge of Azure storage, databases, and compute services.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues related to Azure services.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.

- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Proven ability to stay updated with the latest advancements in Azure services and AI technologies.

- Certifications related to Azure services or AI technologies is a plus, as is a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- Fluency in Swedish and English.
