PwC’s team within Intelligent Automation is growing and now you have the opportunity to join us! We are looking forward to your application if you are a backend developer with interest in RPA.

PwC is on an exciting automation journey, with the Intelligent Automation department at the heart of driving this transformation in the business. We are currently looking for a passionate developer with a business mindset and knowledge of backend technologies that is interested in joining our team. While experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is preferred, we are willing to train the candidate with the right mindset.

Being able to work agile within a dynamic team with a customer focused approach in order to deliver high quality automation solutions both to internal stakeholders and also possibly external clients is a critical part of our team. This role will rely heavily on effective communication, creative solutions, thorough documentation, and timely delivery.

With the support of the team you will be encouraged to involve yourself in the complete product life cycle from initial scoping, requirements gathering, development, quality assurance, and testing, to support and maintenance.

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience within backend technologies, Automation or robotic process automation software (Blue Prism or Ui Path)
  • Interest or knowledge in working with business requirements and documentation
  • Ability to understand and create technical process workflow diagrams or procedural documentation
  • Programming or developer experience (APIs, SQL, C#, Azure Functions or Java and Javascript)
  • Scripting knowledge or experience (Python, VB Script, Shell script, PowerShell )
  • Experience creating macros
  • Understanding Agile Development Methodologies
  • Exposure to performance measurement and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Prior experience with Azure DevOps

Experience in the following areas are advantageous:

  • Implementing policies, procedures, and control techniques.
  • Defining and documenting information security procedures and control techniques for automation solutions and operations.
  • Carrying out risk assessment of automation solutions and identifying controls to mitigate risks.
  • RPA best practices and standards.
  • Mentoring and training.

As a person you are curious, interested in learning new things and have an ability to see and adopt new methods and ways of working. You have a professional approach and a focus on client relations and how to add value for the client.
