Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer who has expertise in GoLang, GCP, and Terraform as an engineer opens up various opportunities to build scalable, reliable, and cloud-native applications. Here are some key skills and responsibilities associated with this role:

1. GoLang Development:

· Proficient in writing efficient and idiomatic Go code.

· Design and develop Go-based microservices, APIs, and web applications.

· Familiarity with Go testing frameworks and best practices.

2. Google Cloud Platform (GCP):

· In-depth knowledge of GCP services and their capabilities.

· Experience in deploying and managing applications on GCP.

· Proficiency in using GCP core services, such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, etc.

· Familiarity with Google Cloud SDK, CLI, and Cloud Console.

· Understanding of GCP networking, IAM (Identity and Access Management), and security practices.

3. Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC):

· Strong understanding of Terraform and its concepts.

· Ability to write reusable, modular, and version-controlled Terraform code.

· Experience in provisioning and managing infrastructure using Terraform.

· Knowledge of Terraform providers and resource configurations specific to GCP.

· Proficiency in managing Terraform state and working with Terraform modules.

Having expertise in these areas makes you well-equipped to develop, deploy, and manage applications on GCP, utilizing GoLang for writing efficient and scalable code, and leveraging Terraform for managing infrastructure as code. This skill set is highly valued in cloud engineering roles focused on GCP and cloud-native development.
