About the Company

Gung AB is a fast growing and profitable SaaS company located in Johanneberg, Gothenburg which delivers its own B2B e-commerce solution to distributing and manufacturing companies. Gung simplifies the ordering process, and also complements companies’ business system with the help of a modern web interface and API to increase the user experience and decrease the administrative work. The Gung product consists of a e-commerce solution, PIM system, EDI support and a bunch of other integrations towards WMS systems, marketplaces etc.

About the Role

In the role as technical solutions engineer at Gung, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for delivering custom software products to customers from start to finish. You will be responsible for translating customer needs and requirements into technical solutions that directly integrate with the Gung SaaS platform. You will have a team who will guide you in the exciting and dynamic working environment at Gung. To ensure that there is an established systematic work process focused on delivering the products to customers, you will be collaborating with other developers, project leaders and sales personnel. Together you will develop and create while valuing customers’ needs and ideas. Apart from working with a motivated and goal-driven team, you will also have access to a company car and a modern office in the heart of Gothenburg.

About you

You must be passionate about development and problem solving where you can help others to improve themselves while achieving your common goals in the team.

As a technical solutions engineer at Gung, your main role will be to act as a technical advisor to customers and be in close communication and contact with them. This includes understanding their requirements, designing technical solutions, and assisting with customization and integration of the Gung SaaS platform. Knowledge of the English and Swedish language is mandatory. It is meritorious if you have previous experience in managing large-scale projects from start to finish.

In addition to this, we expect you to be able to translate customer requirements and implement this directly within our system in code. Therefore, in order to thrive as a technical solutions engineer at Gung, you also need to be comfortable using Java 17, Angular 2, Bootstrap, HTML, databases such as MongoDB & SQL servers as well as versions management in GIT and AWS. If you don’t tick all the boxes, that is fine but these are the frameworks we are using today and you will need to learn.
