The industry is going through big changes - the transformation to the smart and connected factory. We’re now looking for a Front-end Developer for web-based UI used by operators at our customers' production. The solutions we develop simplify the work of a large number of operators worldwide. Join our multinational team in Sickla and develop innovative solutions for sustainable and flexible industrial production!

What you’ll do

As a Front-end developer, you will join one of the small cross functional teams, and collaborate with UX and developers of other areas of the embedded system. You will implement new features, work on bug fixes and maintain an existing code for a web-based user interface in an embedded system. You’ll have the chance to play around with new ideas and find creative ways of meeting customer needs.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and contribute to driving the future of the user interface in an embedded system
• Propose improvements in the architecture around the application and be part of transforming the application accordingly
• Maintain and develop communication with the different APIs for receiving and sending data to underlying applications

The position is in Sweden, at our headquarters in Sickla, Nacka. We have a hybrid workplace where we combine the best parts of working from the office and from home.

You report to Tina Marsic, Team Manager Station interfaces.

Who are you?

We are seeking a team player with a “can-do” attitude, who wants to embrace new challenges and thrive in an environment where you never stop learning. You have strong communication skills, are self-organized, committed and customer focused. You get energy from working with others and enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience with your colleagues.

In addition to who you are we see that you have the following experience and knowledge:

• A university degree in computer science or a similar area
• Around 5+ years’ experience in software development (but what you’ve done is most important) and experience in:
• JavaScript / Typescript
• Java (primarily syntax, not the Java runtime)
• NPM
• Fluency in English
• Experience within any of these areas is considered a plus:
• React, Git, Front-end testing, Google Web Toolkit (GWT), Nx or similar tool, Storybook, Selenium, working with open source
