Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Umbraco CMS and .NET technologies.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security by following best practices and standards.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve overall codebase quality.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with the product manager, designers, stakeholders and other developers to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and improvements.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Umbraco CMS and .NET framework.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Senior Developer with expertise in Umbraco and .NET.
• Strong understanding of web development concepts and principles, including HTML, SASS based CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
• Proficient in C# and ASP.NET MVC.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of modern-day best practices with respect to clean code, testing, and design patterns
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Fluent level of English (Swedish is a plus, but certainly not a requirement).
• Beneficial, but not a must: Experience with React or any other frontend framework/library is a plus.
• Beneficial, but not a must: Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
