System Administrator Windows

Who is your future team?
The IT Operations team is part of the Infrastructure & IT Operations department. Our main responsibility is to provide our colleagues around the world with an available, reliable and efficient IT-infrastructure and we do this with great support! We have the end-to-end responsibility for making the latest technology available to our organization to support and maintain the already installed infrastructure. Our department, Infrastructure & IT Operations, works closely with other parts of the Axis organization both with the organization at the Headquarters in Lund as well as sales & production sites globally. What will you do?
Axis is growing and we need to strengthen IT Operations with yet another co-worker. As our Cloud administrator your daily work will be to manage Incidents & Problems but also to review and understand new business requirements and how these should be implemented. You will most likely also be the one doing the implementation and act as specialist towards our Infra Helpdesk.

You need to be comfortable with setting your own agenda but at the same time be a great team player. You should also be ready to work in a global environment.

The position will require on-call duty and travel (approx. 20 days/year).

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with at least 3-5 years' experience within operating & maintaining a cloud environment as an administrator. It's great if you have experience doing this in a global environment. We think you have basic knowledge of the Windows stack and understand the dependencies between application, data layer and servers.

We are looking for a person that would like to have fun at work and contribute to the team spirit. So, you need to be a excellent team player and take full responsibility for your parts. You will be working in a changing and fast-moving environment, so we need you to be able to walk the extra mile when needed.

Proven experience as a system administrator, specifically focusing on cloud environments

In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure Platform
*

Familiarity with cloud orchestration and automation tools (e.g. Ansible)

Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols
*

Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python of PowerShell
*

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle critical situations calmly
*

Effective communication and collaboration abilities
*

Relevant certifications

*

Operate our SharePoint infrastructure (SharePoint, PowerShell, SQL)
*

Knowledge of VMware
*

Able to use PowerShell for administration of Microsoft-environment
*

Knowledge & experience of implementing infrastructure in a secure and reliable way
