The role

MAJORITY is looking for a Data Analyst, to join its risk product team in Stockholm.

Key Responsibilities

From a data perspective to support and enable the development of the risk product function at MAJORITY by:

• Ensuring and preserving data quality
• Performing data analysis on transactions, behaviors and risk rule outcomes
• Developing scripts to detect fraud and potential money laundering and reduce loss and risk exposure.
• Performing ad hoc deep dives on Risk and KYC related topics
• Come up with creative ideas on how to proactively prevent and detect fraud and money laundering
• Drive results with a proven ability to achieve both team and individual goals consistently
• Act as the captain for Risk data and drive this agenda throughout the organization

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as BI analyst/data analyst/data scientist or similar role
• Ability to effectively work in team and create strong relationships
• Proficiency in Looker or similar tools is a great plus
• Proficiency in SQL, understanding of different database schemes
• Proficiency in Python including data manipulation, numerical analysis and visualization
• Ability to manipulate and tidy large datasets using a tool such as Pandas
• Proficiency in DBT for ELT transformation
• Ability to make basic statistical analyses
• Experience in risk management or within the financial transaction industry is a plus
• Interest in learning more about Machine Learning and its potential applications in the risk area
