Full-Stack Developers

Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.We have started our journey to improve the way service market information is produced and consumed by Scania’s global service network and we are now looking for a full-stack developer to join our new team starting from scratch.

Since our service information is used widely in many processes in our network spanning from Vehicle sales, Contract management, Workshop production to Warranty the team will interact with many stakeholders. Our information is used 24/7 in more than 2000 workshops by 25.000+ users globally.

A big part of that journey is to change our tools and processes for content production to be a part of, or closely linked to, Scania’s PDM system OAS.

The team will in close collaboration with business partner, develop the middle layer(s) between our source system(s) and our consumer to streamline and make information available to the service market. That job will be both to replace existing integrations with new ones and to support new needs that you will discover in your collaboration with business.

About you

You are a true team player- focusing on common goals, having an open mindset and strong curiosity to learn new things and find new ways of solving problems. You know how to organize your own work to meet set targets. You have a mindset that the coding language is just a tool to reach high business value and gets triggered in the unknown environment.

You have at least 2 years of developing experience and knowledge of the following:

• Cloud technologies (AWS and Serverless preferably)
• Source code version control incl. branching etc. (Git preferably)
• CI/CD
• Python and/or TypeScript
• Non-relational database (DynamoDB preferably)
• Angular
