Build the next generation educational platform
Allakando is one of Sweden’s largest education companies and the fastest growing company for private tutoring, courses and digital educational tools. Our mission is to accelerate people's growth - academically as well as personally - and our learning solution is a blend between classic in-person tutoring and online learning tools. Our product range also contains one of the largest nanny agencies in the country, educational travel and exchange programs.
We are now working on our biggest technology investment yet, building a next generation educational platform and bringing our software development in-house. To start this exciting journey off we are putting together a brand new development team to lead the change.
Our office is situated on the entire second floor of Lund’s station building. We offer a hybrid-solution with a high degree of flexibility where you can either work onsite here att the office or up to 2-3 days per week remotely.
About the role
You will be part of a brand new in-house development team, and your work will include everything from developing brand new applications and tools to modernizing Allakando's existing solutions. You will report directly to our CTO.
You will play a key role in developing our UI library of web components, building modern web applications, developing tools that can be reused across projects, and much more. Together with our product team and designers you will work collaboratively all the way from idea to deployment. Your primary focus will be within the front end, but the role holds many opportunities to move across the entire stack depending on your preferences and the needs of the team.

About you
Perhaps you are fresh out of school, or maybe you have 1 or 2 years of professional work experience under your belt. Either way we think that you have:
- 0-2+ years professional experience with JavaScript / TypeScript or a degree within a relevant field
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, CSS and HTML
- Experience with at least one modern front end framework
The following competencies are meriting:
- Experience working with web components
- Experience working with a major cloud provider (AWS/GCP/AZ)
- Experience with Scrum and agile methodologies
