The role
As our new Senior Frontend Developer, you will be an important part of our existing team and build great things within our digital products. You will get a unique opportunity to work with product development within transport and logistics and deliver towards a global market via our next-generation platform.

The teams’ responsibility is to build, support, scale and secure our platform which is both an external product as well as a fundamental internal system. We are striving to build high-performing teams with a clear focus on automation, security, and reliability where everyone together owns the platform.

Key responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces using TypeScript and React.js.

- Collaborate with backend developers to deliver exceptional user experiences.

- Utilize React.js to build reusable components and optimize performance.

- Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with frameworks such as Cypress and Jest.

- Actively participate in agile development processes, including Scrum.

- Improve the overall developer experience by enabling fast feedback loops and providing a positive impact to the Engineering team, and the organisation.

- Participate in code reviews for your team.

- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

- As a senior member of our team, we expect you to lead and mentor junior colleagues to help them grow.

About you

No size fits all, but a successful candidate might have the following skills and experience:

- Hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS and Redux.

- 5+ years of frontend development experience from any of the major frameworks (but with an ambition to learn React).

- Recent experience from being in a mid to senior role.

- Experience from mentoring and leading junior colleagues.

- Experience with test frameworks such as Cypress and Jest.

- Strong understanding of UX principles and design patterns.

- Familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

- Comfortable with Git or similar version control system.

Social skills:

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Fluent in English; Swedish language skills is a plus.

- Open to learning new ways of working and to learn new things together with your colleagues.

- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have:

- Prior experience working closely with UX designers and understanding how to build products that users loves!

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden (we have a hybrid setup and you are expected to be in the office at least 3 days per week)
