Java Backend Developer- Malmö

Assignment Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Backend Developer to join our team. As a Backend Developer, you will be part of a dedicated guild of developers responsible for further developing and managing our customer's platform. The platform is built using modern technologies such as Spring Boot and Java 11 (currently upgrading to Java 17), and we follow best practices for scalable REST architecture. Additionally, we are in the process of transitioning to the cloud.

What you will work on:

• Collaborate with the development guild to enhance and maintain the customer's platform, ensuring its continuous improvement and scalability.
• Utilize your experience in developing systems using Java/Spring Boot or similar backend technologies to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Embrace agile working methods and contribute to the adoption of the SAFe framework, ensuring efficient collaboration and iterative development.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, Maven, Git, Tomcat, and cloud solutions, with the ability to leverage REST and SOAP services effectively.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in backend development, actively seeking opportunities to apply new technologies and best practices to enhance our platform.

What you bring:

• Demonstrated experience working with systems with numerous dependencies, showcasing your ability to manage complexity effectively.
• Strong proficiency in backend development using Java/Spring Boot or similar technologies, with a track record of delivering reliable and scalable solutions.
• Familiarity with agile working methods and experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.
• Good knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Maven, Git, Tomcat, and cloud solutions, with additional experience in REST and SOAP services considered advantageous.
