Responsibilities

• Give insightful technical advice on design ideas, contributing to our vibrant creative brainstorming
• Participate actively in the development process, transitioning new features from conceptual stage to final product
• Craft clean, well-structured, and maintainable code and ensure proper documentation where necessary
• Offer constructive critique on peer work, promoting a culture of excellence and mutual growth
• Impart knowledge and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a learning environment
• Constantly monitor game performance, implementing optimizations for seamless gameplay
• Manage project assets and structure efficiently, aiming to keep the complexity low
• Swiftly identify and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues to ensure a smooth player experience

Requirements

Ideal candidates would:

• Have at least 3 years of professional experience developing games in Unity
• Exhibit a strong understanding of C#, Unity, Git / VCS, and Test-driven development
• Possess excellent communication skills, helping facilitate effective team discussions
• Be highly organized, able to work independently and take initiative when required
• Thrive within the dynamic startup environment, demonstrating a proactive approach
• Be a caring team player eager to contribute to our close-knit startup with positivity and fresh ideas
